My mom has Diabetes and she has had a lot of surgeries for the pain on her legs, and arms... None have worked... However my cousin who lives in Venezuela has cancer(or at least had). It's amazing how a Chemotherapy can change a person's life!!!!

Wow my mom found out she had breast cancer at the end of November 2008 and she had surgery on dec 15th and then a couple more surgeries after that. I know what you mean about how it turns your world upside down. im 18 I try to help the cause a lot. Thanks for helping! If you need to talk im open to it but only if you want to since are situations a similar.

Independent films are always the best, small budget movies are usually the ones with the best thought and storylines, as people really put their heart into the movies they make, usually funded by their own money. And the small flaws don't matter, they just add to the richness as they serve as contrast. Looking forward to this very much, hope it gets finished soon and is released.

I don't see objective ways of knowing as evil "per se". I do see, however, EXCLUSIVELY objective ways of knowing as EVIL INCARNATE. In the academy, this is the sophisticate's way of the proud stance, looking down noses at other disciplined approaches as happy with questions as investigative findings. I have achieved the desired effect, to call into question the assertion that we need to know. Solzhenitsyn was right to remind us of the problems inherent in Western conceptions of the right to know. The truth may be that we need NOT to know. There are things that our divine souls have rights NOT TO KNOW. The knowledge of good and evil is indeed a trap. It is first the trap of objectification. @jhall38 I don't necessarily disagree with this epistemological statement but I would submit that the arrogance is in those who make the claim to know it all. Science cannot make pronouncements over the existence or non-existence of God it is up to the proponents of God to provide that proof. I would argue that we KNOW rather more today then we did say even a hundred years ago on a broad range of subjects from medicine to physics no?

I think the better tactic, involving a super-category of understanding concerning God, people and things moves in the direction of "un-knowing". The things that we submit to scientific categories belong to a super-category which is essentially moving away from investigation. We know less and less, not more and more. To be honest when you view the world and the Universe in the lens of reality then you realize that the purpose that you decide for yourself is really much more than what could be placed upon you by some supernatural being. To know that it is my species and my own doing that makes me believe and do the good I do and seek out more knowledge and understanding instead of a divine makes me feel so much more content than any other outside make believe story ever could.

jhall38 You're right that there are claims in say theoretical physics that have not yet or may not ever be verified by experimentation but I don't think that any of these theorists would ask you to accept it as truth until it was verified. Until such time the claim can only be said to be a 'workable hypothesis'. Some of the claims made by theoretical physics have mathematical proof but not experimental truth which strengthens their plausibility but does not assure it.
